We have just completed the demoltion of a local property. The first stage was to dismantle the timber barn and outbuildings. Welsh slates were removed from the roof for use on a barn conversion project and all the timbers were moved into dry storage.
Yorkstone flags that surrounded the property were carefully lifted, measured and palletised and sold nearly immediately.
The main building consisited of Cotswold building stone and lots of it! Our guys were on site for a good length of time, carefully taking this property down and sorting out the stone - some was sold directly from site to a nearby building project, some taken back to the yard to be cropped in size for a local renovation job and the remainder added to the stock in the yard.
The colour and general condition of the stone was particularly good,
making it suitable for numerous projects and due to the large volume
aquired, we were able to supply substantial quantities to many of our
regular customers.
